Monsanto company is responsible for herbicide tolerant crops (Roundup Ready® crops), insect tolerant crops (VT Triple PRO® corn, INTACTA RR2 PRO® soybeans, Bollgard II® cotton), and drought tolerant crops (DroughtGard® Hybrids). They work hard to bring better seeds to farmers in order to help them produce better crop yields. Some of their crops include: alfalfa, canola, corn, cotton, sorghum, soybeans, sugarbeets and wheat. They strive to sell conventional seeds to struggling third world countries to help improve crop production. All genetically modified seeds are produced to tolerate a lack of water and defend against pests.
